Vernon is a Dutch footballer who played a right back for Newcastle between 2012 and 2017. In a mixed career the busy little player would also get a regular slot in midfield and represented the club in the Europa League, Premier League and was part of the squad that gained promotion form the Championship in 16/17. The diminutive player's contract expired that summer and he joined Leeds.
